Our club’s advisor Andy Andres will be joining us later this month to talk about his career path through sports and academia
Andy has degrees in Computer Science (AB, Brown), Physiology (MS, Harvard), and Nutritional Biochemistry and Physiology (PhD, Tufts)
He has held a variety of roles across disciplines, including Head Coach/Lead Instructor of The Science of Baseball Program at MIT, Master Lecturer at BU’s CGS, Visiting Lecturer at Tufts, Data Analyst for BaseballHQ.com, and Pitch Clock/Data caster at Fenway Park for the MLB. He has also won awards for his research on Tommy John surgery and pitch fx.
